Dustin Wolkis

Dr. Dustin Wolkis is the Scientific Curator of Seed Conservation at the National Tropical Botanical Garden headquartered on Kauaʻi, in Hawaiʻi. He is especially interested in seed longevity and wild species exhibiting anomalous responses to conventional seed storage methods. He is Deputy Chair of the IUCN Species Survival Commission Seed Conservation Specialist Group, and Affiliate Graduate Faculty in Botany at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. He enjoys hiking with his partner Krista and son Canyon.
