Charlotte Couch & Sékou Magassouba

Charlotte Couch is the project officer for the Tropical Important Plant Areas of Guinea for the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and is Technical Advisor to the National Herbarium of Guinea. She first visited Guinea in 2005 and moves between the UK and Guinea, working on conservation of threatened plants and developing partnerships and collaborations.

Dr Sékou Magassouba is the Director of the National Herbarium of Guinea. He has a background in medicinal plants and chemistry. He manages the projects and research partnerships as well as teaching and supporting MSc and PhD students.
