Aida Cuni-Sanchez and Martin Sullivan

Aida Cuni-Sanchez has spent over 10 years working to help quantify sustainable use of forest products, including medicinal plants, wild fruits and wild meat, using participatory approaches. She is currently an associate professor at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in Norway.

Martin Sullivan studies how tropical forests respond to environmental change. Most of his work involves trees, so this research project was a new direction for him. He is currently a senior lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK.
