Dr Martin Fisher Editor
Martin joined Fauna & Flora International in 2001, having previously carried out research and lectured in ecology and conservation at universities in Nigeria, Oman and Fiji. He studied at the Universities of London and East Anglia, and has a particular interest in the conservation and natural history of environments at the extremes of the rainfall spectrum—deserts and rainforests, in improving the contribution of scientific journals to conservation science, and in capacity building for conservation.

Elizabeth Allen Senior Editorial Assistant
Elizabeth joined Fauna & Flora International in 2005. She previously studied zoology and conservation at the University of Bristol and University College London, respectively, where her research projects focussed on bats. She likes to spend her spare time pottering among the vegetables and bee hives on her allotment, reading books and cycling.

Nikki joined Fauna & Flora International in 2010. She studied English as a mature student at Anglia Ruskin University and has previously worked in academic publishing and as a freelance proof-reader and copyright researcher. In her spare time she enjoys reading, walking, and spending time at a wildlife pond that she helped to establish.
